《环球英语教程》中国行暨“新技术与立体化语言教学”研讨会

随着现代教育技术的发展，计算机和多媒体视频材料在语言教学上的应用日益广泛。多媒体技术的引入，丰富了外语教学手段，但课堂活动的组织和教师本身仍然是决定教学效果的关键因素。如何将视听素材融入英语语音、词汇和语法的教学，如何注意多媒体教学中“语言输入”和“语言输出”之间的平衡，如何重视仿说、会话策略和信息转移的教学，如何把握教师在视听课上的角色，如何运用“sound only”、“silent viewing”等最新的视听教学技巧……这些都是外语教学界在研究、探讨的热点问题，也是《环球英语教程》中国行期待解决的课题。

五、主讲嘉宾

Susan Stempleski is internationally recognized as an authority of the use of video in language teaching. Her publications include numerous articles and more than 40 textbooks and teacher resource books. She has been a consultant on EFL/ESL materials development and program design to numerous organizations since 1975.

John Lowe has been involved in English Language teaching for 25 years. He has taught at schools and universities in Switzerland, Bulgaria, Libya and Japan, and has presented at conferences all over the world. He has also worked in teacher training and was previously an English language examiner for the United Nations in Japan. He currently is ELT Asia Product Director for Thomson.
